FIMA specialists designed and implemented a new baggage handling and screening system and built and installed border inspection posts at the reconstructed Palanga International Airport.

The objective was to increase the airport’s capacity and separate Schengen and non-Schengen area passengers.

FIMA experts designed and implemented a new baggage handling and screening system and built and installed border inspection posts for the State Border Guard Service at the reconstructed Palanga International Airport.

In addition, FIMA installed access control, security and fire alarm, video surveillance systems and communication and power networks.

The airport’s capacity trebled following the modernisation.
