FIMA set up a microprocessor-based traffic control and level crossing signalling system, modernised and expanded communications systems and implemented security solutions.
To control traffic, FIMA specialists installed a microprocessor-based signalling systemmanufactured by Bombardier Transportationon five points and three level crossings. Theylaid34km of fibre optic cable from Stasylos station to Valčiūnai station, modernised all of the technological communications equipment at stations on the route up to Vilnius traffic control centre and installed CCTV on the platform and inside Stasylos station as well as implementing security, access control and public address systems.
