FIMA reconstructed a330 kV Elektrėnai distribution station and two 110/35/10 kV substations. Installation of a newSCADA system enables to manage themfrom central control rooms.
While implementing the project, FIMA reconstructed one of the main power distribution stations at the Lithuanian Power Plant: a 330 kV Elektrėnai distribution station. It changed all the existingequipment, including set-up and commissioning ofmicroprocessor relays, relay protection and automation systems; programming, set-up and commissioningof a centralised control system SCADA; and installation of a fibreoptic communication network for data collection and transmission. After project completion, all of the distribution station equipment can be operated from the Vilnius-based central control room.
FIMAreplacedall the old equipment in the Kupiškis and Vilkaviškis substations, installed a microprocessor-based relay protection and tele-information collection and transmission devices which collectinformation from substations and transmit it by fibre optic communication to central control rooms. Dispatch operators use SCADA to control substation equipment, monitor itsstatus and change itsparameters.
In addition, FIMAbuilt security and fire alarm systems, video surveillance and perimeter security solutions in the power distribution station and substations.
