FIMA developed and modernised the security system at Rokiškis psychiatric hospital following the concept and design of a unified security system.

Since 2008, when FIMA started co-operating with Rokiškis psychiatric hospital, the company has developed and modernised the hospital’s security system following the conception and design of a unifiedsecurity system.

FIMA set up an access control system consisting of almost 90 access card readers in four sections of the Rokiškis psychiatric hospital. In addition, it modernised and expanded the existing video surveillance system in two hospital sections.FIMA integrated previously installed video cameras into a single surveillance system, mounted 80 new vandal-proof cameras, seven video recording devices and 14 LCD video surveillance monitors. The entire video surveillance system is connected to a video matrix of 160 access points.

A mobile security calling system was created to increase the efficiency of security staff.

In addition, a state-of-the-art perimeter security system was put in place in four sections of the hospital. The system comprises 35 sets of new infrared and microwave barriers which are integrated into a single security system.

FIMA also put in place fire alarms with more than 300 sensors, a computer network in sections A and B, a staff call system and aTV network for patients.

Following the successful modernisation, perimeter security, access control, security and video surveillance systems are controlled by a single software module.Security staff can now monitor the situation in the hospital more effectively and receive alarm messages more quickly, resulting in better overall system administration.
