In the newly opened Akropolis shopping center in Latvia FIMA specialists have implemented integrated technology solutions that ensure the safety and comfort of the shopping center guests.

At Akropolis, Latvia’s newly opened shopping centre that covers 98 000 square metres, FIMA specialists have installed integrated technology solutions to ensure customer comfort and security. FIMA has provided an electronic communications system and server room infrastructure, prepared and implemented security solutions for both public spaces and access and evacuation control systems, installed a telecommunications network and cabling infrastructure for the Apollo Cinema’s low-voltage systems, and designed a lighting control and audio system for the ice arena.

The integration of the installed video surveillance system into the unified security system also creates a safe environment for customers and employees alike. The video surveillance system has been installed both in the interior public space and outdoors, including the children’s playground and the 2300-car parking facility.

The development of server room infrastructure and the supply of the data centre with servers and communications are an important contribution to making sure that the data is processed and stored in accordance with all security requirements. The data centre operation speed, customer convenience and maximum return on investment are all important factors on which both the shopping centre developers and the FIMA specialists who installed the solutions have relied on.

General facts of the project:
