FIMA has installed a high-quality data transmission network, security systems and centrally controlled conference centre’s infrastructure at the Hilton Hotel and the nearby business centre.

The technical infrastructure at Lithuania’s first Hilton Hotel and the nearby business centre in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius, has been installed by FIMA. While designing and installing the systems at the Hilton Garden Inn in Vilnius city centre, FIMA’s specialists followed the requirements of the Hilton Brand Book.

To ensure the reliable operation of all systems in the building, a Category 6-certified copper and fibre optic structured cabling network backed by the manufacturer’s 25-year warranty has been installed.

One of the essential tasks while implementing this project was the quality of the computer and communication network. The high-level of security and reliability provided by the system coupled with the centrally controlled high-speed wireless data transmission network (WI-FI), ensures that there is stable, high-speed ‘coverage’ as demanded by both staff and guests.

The guest rooms and public zones are equipped with wireless electronic locks that can be integrated with the Hilton’s Digital Key system which can be accessed by guests using a smartphone. The background music system installed in the public areas of the building allows the staff to choose the right level of background music level in different zones and so ensure the comfort of guests and the privacy of conversations.

Hilton devotes particular attention to security: the fire alarm, public address system and monitoring software have been installed in accordance with the hotel’s highest standards. To guarantee hotel and guest security, a network of high-resolution digital IP video cameras has been fitted.

When it came to fitting out the conference centre, the priority was simplicity of all equipment and system management, allowing staff to be able to easily transform and customise the conference centre space. In the conference rooms, FIMA has installed modern audio, video and equipment management systems consisting of a high-resolution video wall and high-resolution video projectors; image repeating mobile monitors; a wireless image communication, presentation and radio microphone system; an audio matrix; an information system (Digital signage); and a central management system for all of the equipment. The audio and video equipment and all the rooms’ lighting are controlled centrally from control panels installed in the rooms or by portable wireless touch-sensitive devices. And the rooms can easily be combined into bigger spaces or split up into smaller ones thanks to the flexibility of the software.
