Video surveillance, access control and security alarm systems at Peikko facilities

In 2012, strengthening its position in Lithuania, an international mounting systems and composite construction products manufacturing company, Peikko Group, purchased an 850,000 square metre manufacturing complex in Kaunas, where it equipped a new modern production and administrative facilities for Peikko Lietuva UAB.

FIMA was responsible for the installation of video surveillance, access control, and security alarm systems in both the manufacturing and administrative divisions. An automated time & attendance registration system was also installed during the project.

In order to ensure maximum labour safety, special emphasis was given to the video surveillance system: compliance with labour safety requirements and the course of the production process are constantly monitored and recorded with high-quality megapixel CCTV cameras and the system features high speed video recording. The system is flexible enough to accept further expansion and upgrade with additional functions: if slight modifications are made to the system, automated image analysis functions can be installed upon request.

The time & attendance registration system features operational simplicity and process automation capabilities. The system generates timekeeping reports in various cross-sections according to different requirements of managers and automatically produces timekeeping time sheets.
