Intersection traffic control system

FIMA experts reconstructed an existing system and built two new ones on junctions near a new shopping centre. A series of new traffic lights were erected at key junctions and interconnected to create a so-called “green-light streetsystem”. In addition, FIMA built wireless traffic detectors at the intersections to regulate vehicles in response to traffic volume.

New traffic lights automatically dim in response to the amount of daylight so saving on power consumption. The traffic lights comply with European Union safety requirements.

The system can be integrated with a centralised traffic control system.
