Back to News

A new sports arena with integrated engineering solutions implemented by FIMA has opened in Jonava. The 2,000-seat arena was fitted with FIMA’s access control, indoor and outdoor video surveillance, public address, fire extinguishing and building management systems.

The arena, which will host not only basketball matches but also other sports, training sessions, concerts, exhibitions and conferences, was also provided with smart lighting controls which allow different lighting scenarios to be chosen depending upon the nature of the event or specific sport taking place and comply with the requirements for international matches. The clock system, information displays and scoreboards were also provided by FIMA.

The company has also provided power supply systems, communications networks and security and fire alarm systems.

This is not the first arena that FIMA specialists have worked on. The company’s intelligent engineering solutions were provided in Vilnius Siemens Arena, Šiauliai Arena, Panevėžys Arena and Druskininkai Snow Arena. The company is also completing the Hala Podium Arena project in Poland.
