The Latvian State Revenue Service has commended FIMA for fair business practices and considerable contributions to the national budget.

“A fair approach to taxes to business practices are the order of the day in our company. Shadow economy distorts competition and the business environment. Therefore, we are pleased to see the number of companies who get State Revenue Service letters of appreciation grow with every year,” SIA FIMA director Janis Vilmanis said.

A total of 2,448 companies received such letters from the tax authority this year as a token of appreciation for fair competition and business practices.
