FIMA has implemented modern ITS solutions and upgraded the hardware and software of the Vilnius central traffic management system as part of Phase III of the Vilnius Western Bypass project. These improvements will help control traffic flows and ensure road traffic safety.

FIMA has provided four high-resolution (11-megapixel) traffic enforcement cameras with Doppler-based radars on all three traffic lanes of the by-pass to help identify speeders.

In addition, FIMA has implemented traffic light systems and a video surveillance system based on IP cameras at two intersections in the vicinity of the by-pass. These systems have been connected to the Vilnius central traffic management system, which has been upgraded accordingly.
