Back to News

FIMA Polska, the Polish subsidiary of the intelligent engineering solutions company, FIMA, has signed an agreement to provide infrastructure for the server room of the Polish national forest holding.

FIMA engineers will have to rearrange the facilities to make them suitable for IT hardware, reinforce the structure underneath the server room, install server cabinets, make separation of cold and hot zones, introduce an energy-efficient cooling system, provide security systems and carry out the facility’s power supply installation and other tasks.

The Polish national forest holding, Lasy Państwowe, is the largest organisation in the EU to administer state forests and employs 25,000 people. It controls an area of forest that covers almost one third of Polish territory.
