Back to News

“Fima” won the tender for installation of video surveillance and passenger flow control systems in the new terminal of International Vilnius Airport.

Vilnius Airport will be the only airport in Lithuania with a modern passenger flow control system installed. It will effectively control the flow of the passengers who arrive all the way from the plane to the exit. The programme will pick a passage, switch on passenger information signs and close the unnecessary passages.

The implementation of video surveillance system will include installation of partner Barco’s video wall consisting of 8 video cubes.

This project is part of implementation of Schengen requirements. It is partially financed by the EU.

The total cost of the project will amount to 5.4 billion LTL.
