FIMA qualifies for NATO tender

Electronic engineering company UAB “Fima” was granted a reliability declaration that qualifies the company for an international purchase tender of digital short distance radio relay systems. The decision was made by a Joint Committee which ranks companies for NATO purchase tenders at the conference held in the Ministry of Economy on 13 February.

40 Lithuanian companies are currently on the list of potential NATO tender participants. 8 of them operate in the field of information technologies, 6 – in the field of construction and renovation, 5 – in the field of textile, 6 – in the field of electronic devices manufacture, 3 – in the field of security services, 12 companies operate in other fields. 6 companies have been issued reliability declarations; however, such declarations are only valid for a particular tender, which they were intended for.
