Telecommunication, security, data and automation solution company “Fima” has reached the turnover of 13,6 million Euros during January – September of this year, it is 105 percent bigger than during the same period last year, when the sales comprised 6,7 million Euros.
“More than twice increased turnover was determined by successful work with private customers and implementation of numerous state company orders. This year we have established ourselves in the energy sector, increased the volume of the telecommunication and data transfer in the business segment. Also, this year by installing the information and sports contest results management system in the newly built “Siemens arena”, implementing Vilnius airport and “Lithuanian Railways” projects, we have established ourselves in the informational video system implementation sphere”, explained Development Director of company “Fima”, Aleksandras Klumbys.
This year “Fima” allotted 40 percent more resources than last year for the training of the employees – 52 thousand Euros in total. “After investing into the training of employees, we managed to expand the activity of the company into new spheres”, told A. Klumbys.
According to him, it is possible to claim that “Fima” will grow with the currently increasing need to optimize the administration of the telecommunication networks, data transfer, and security systems in Lithuania.
“We feel a significant increase of the orders. A tendency can be singled out that the wave of the modernization which, having begun in the industry sector of the country, is already transferring into service sector, where rapid system updating process is noticed. Industrial companies which get in the common European Union market are looking for ways to save up the resources and start the automation of the production, servicing subdivision process. The companies in the service sector also seeking to maintain the competitiveness on the market require more and more often to provide solutions for optimizing and maximizing the work of offices”, commented A. Klumbys.
According to him, often building management systems are being installed following individual orders, call centers are modernized; modern security systems are also becoming more popular.
This year “Fima” has modernized the call centers of “Avon”, “Transcom”, and Vilnius city Municipality by implementing the newest IP telephony technology. The company is finishing the implementation of the information and sports contest results management system with video cube in “Siemens arena”. This year the BMS, fire extinguishing and ventilation automation systems have been installed for the producer of medical equipment “Intersurgical”. “Fima” has also completed one stage of the modernization of a single section of “Lithuanian Railways” and separate stations thereof. Subdivision modernization and process centralization as well as automation process is being completed for “Rytu skirstomieji tinklai”. Moreover, “Fima” is further expanding the integrated city video surveillance system in Vilnius city, which carries out the function of crime prevention.
