In 2018, Vytautas Zinkevičius, the company’s former Business Development Director, became the FIMA Group Chief Executive Officer and the head of the company in Lithuania. A new top management team was formed, and a new strategy introduced which was focused on ensuring the group’s sustainability across the Baltic region.
In 2018, the FIMA Group achieved a record annual turnover of EUR 83 m.
In Lithuania, the company installed the Baltic States’ first average speed enforcement system. It also implemented a large-scale intelligent transportation system – SMART E67 – in Latvia, installed a new video-surveillance system in Vilnius and successfully ran several significant railway infrastructure modernisation projects in Poland and Lithuania.
